Gina Martin - a young woman changes the law
At the British Summer Time Festival in 2017, a man placed a phone between Gina Martin’s legs, took photos and proceeded to share these images with his friends. Angered by a lack of response from the authorities (as there was no law against it), as a political novice from a working-class background, Gina was still successful in adding upskirting to the Sexual Offences Act.
